GT never influenced my life because it is part of my life lol... I think Journey changed the way I see the games today.

I can see that too for me. The stories from Zelda, FF, Ultima (6 was my fav!) got me into deciding to try reading fantasy fiction books (Dragonlance series and Forgotten Realms ). I otherwise had little intersted in reading as a hobby. Now I read allsorts of stuff.

My sister started playing Piano again after playing Skyward Sword.....and now she's moving on to Xenoblade songs.

I've created a monster.

Silent Hill 2. No matter how much I want to smother my wife, don't do it because I will be severely haunted if I do.

Seriously though, Solid Snake. Every MGS game goes so in depth with the characters and teaches them so many valuable morals, some of them are bound to rub off on the players. SPOILER: When Big Boss tells Solid Snake "Let it go, my son. I'm not here to fight. It's over." That can directly or indirectly teach everyone something.

A lot of games influence me. Mainly creatively, but as far as psychological?... um... maybe to make me more creative? lol... I think it boosts my imagination. That's about it. Music probably has more of a dramatic effect on me, especially in putting me more in tune with some ideas and feelings.

Ryo from Shenmue Dreamcast showed me how to cool my heels when I wanted revenge.. and I named my cat after him. That has made my life a million times better.
