Forums - General - Internet Explorer continues growth past 55% market share thanks to IE9 and IE10, as Chrome hits 17-month low

Chrome heading downwards, guess people found out that it loads images and flash more quickly and basically does everything else worse...

Glad to see Firefox holding strong at 20%.

Mehh, I use Maxthon 3.

GC failed on me by constantly freezing.

It's official, the world has come to an end. IE is starting to gain Market Share...

IE9 is solid, and I only found out that IE10 has been released for Windows 7, so I'm downloading that now... According to this site, China is the only reason why IE6 is relevant at all, and hopefully that will change soon.

I'm glad that Firefox is holding steady. It's my browser of choice, especially now that Chrome has decided it wants to not load tabs properly (sometimes when loading tabs, the tab will freeze and refuse to update, and I have to open a new tab to see the website). Opera is nice when I don't want a browser with all of my addons and extensions, but I don't even know why I have it installed, honestly (do I really need four web browsers?).

Yay! for Firefox hold.

Me too. I was on the verge of giving it up for good with FF 3 and 4, but the last two years worth of changes and updates have really won back my faith. It's become far more stable and memory efficient since before the rapid-release cycle days.

Chrome is having some issues with certain extensions and plug-in's and it seems that it has started seeing almost every page as malware or hack sites, especially if you more than one tab open. Chrome is a hot mess right now and is beaten on functionality, plug-in's, compatability and custom features by firefox.

Windows Explorer comes default with most PC's doesnt it? makes sense that its on top lol my parents wouldn't have a clue which Explorer is better lol they just stick with the default.
