Yeah, I guess I'll do just that then. No more Epic games for me, ever. I used to like Epic, but they lost their way after UT became such a succes. Too bad really, because that game is still great playing it today, a true classic.

Really is too bad gamers wont vote this shit out with their wallets. Nobody loves getting shat on and seeing their franchises abused more than gamers.
"Fuck this franchise I'm done with it forever" -----> Buys all DLC and the next 5 entries.'
Ether that or just endlessly praise a lot of these games that screw over the players every chance they get. GOTY

I'm guilty of this too.

If you mean proof for if Gears of War 3 has on-disk DLC then it is  easy. Just google Gears of Wars 3 on-disk DLC.

Of course at the same time you will be able to find links that will counter my argument.

Surely there are other respectable ways to generate a revenue stream?

Far Cry 3 - A new island with new adventures available as DLC, or add friggin dinosaurs!

Gears Of War 3 - Gears of War 1 and 2 maps added to multiplayer

Witcher 2 - Enhanced Edition with added scenes (This was given for free, and the game is still selling and creating greater anticipation for the next installment)

Fifa 13 - Indoor soccer field or street soccer added via DLC

Hi Def patches of existing games for next gen consoles via DLC

Look at Bethesda with Skyrims DLC, it works!

Don't nickel and dime the gamer with micro transactions, give them a real reason to long term invest in your game or gaming franchise.

Actually that is happening. EA in general has many flops recently. Warfighter anyone?


what other flops do they have? there other major games seem to be doing really good. battlefield is doing amazing, so is fifa and madden. mass effect is doing great as well.
