I don't think I ever thought of using my PS2 or PS3 as a CD player. Even on the rare occasion where I buy a CD, I rip it immediately and lose all memory of where I put the CD.

I sure hope so. Games look better when they play off vinyl.

I'm surprised the PS4 doesn't play VHS.

I'll go on a rampage if it doesn't support cassettes, I recorded some back in the day and a few even were from Sony - shame on them if they just drop support for what they sold me
Can't say I used it often, but it was convenient using my PS3 for CD's, disappointing loss.

My Pentium II could emulate PSX... of course it can :)

yeah of course it can but that wasn't my point. I didn't stated it can't emulate PSX from an technical standpoint. I meant it's depending on the decisions from Sony to incorporate this feature into the PS4 ;)
