I'm beginning to feel that they have removed the purple and white Pikmins. why haven't they included them in the box-art or any of the art released until now? :/

They were already shown to be in the game, and the full image of the game's boxart has the purple n whites on it. The only question is whether or not they'll appear in the story mode as there's only 5 displays for Pikmin types on the mission log.
