 Quite a few users have reported that their systems have been more or less bricked following the latest 3DS upgrade. There’s a large thread on Nintendo’s technical forums about the problem, which results from an unexpected error during the update process. Those who encounter the issue have been unable to access the eShop or System Settings.  There is a fix, fortunately! A tool that allows Nintendo 3DS users to transfer save data from the packaged version of a game to the downloadable version. Players that originally purchased a physical version of a game will be able to pick up right where they left off with their save data if they decide to purchase the digital version of the same game. Save data that is transferred to a digital game cannot be moved back to the physical version. An improvement to the feature that downloads items in the background when the Nintendo 3DS system is in Sleep Mode. Items will now download when the Nintendo eShop is running. @current poll: I gotta go with Double Dash. Second place would be DS. I haven't yet played 7, but I've heard nothing but great things.

16 players would be too many, the amount of blue shells and stuff coming from the back would just get too crazy. Even 12 players was pushing it, Mario Kart Wii could turn into a bit of a clusterfuck way too often. F-Zero got away with so many players because it was a lot more balanced than Mario Kart.

And the best Mario Kart was Diddy Kong Racing ;)

Agreed. 16 is too many. Hell, 12 is too many, as you said. I think that's a big part of what hurt Mario Kart Wii. I think 8 racers is the ideal number.

Lastly, a track designer in MKU would be awesome. And a perfect fit for the GamePad; imagine you could more or less 'draw' the track on the touchscreen! And about the number of racers, I think 12 is a good number. If you really wanted to you could include an option for 8, 12 and 16 racers.

But I am so upset with GAME! they charge £39.99 in store.. It is teh highest price of any 3DS game I have ever bought!

SOme places online is £12 cheaper.

I will buy it on line and take that back for refund.
