GoNintendo has some interesting info regarding Indie game development and a picture online of Nintendo Web Framework.

As some of you may remember, Iwata said that by GDC, Nintendo would talk about support for Indie developers.
Well, it seems that Nintendo Web Framework is part of that plan - whatever that is.

GDC will also be host to two Nintendo lectures, so be sure to try and check out what will be revealed!

wen is it? I might put it in the OP if its big news!

I was actually wrong. It`s not 2 but 4 speakers on behalf of Nintendo!

Don`t know about dates or time, but here`s what at the GDC webpage:

Title: Manager of the Network Software Development Group & Communications ServicesGroup, Network Development & Operations Dept, System Development Division
Company: Nintendo Co., Ltd.
Title: Senior Software Engineer (NST)
Company: Nintendo Software Technology
Title: Software Engineer
Company: Nintendo of America
Title: Deputy General Manager, Software Environment Development Department, System Development Division
Company: Nintendo Co., Ltd.

is this all for tomorrow?

MK64 is very weird for me. I played it a lot and loved it when it was new, but in retrospect I really hate the way it controls compared to other games in the series. Going back to the 2D sprite on 3D track style just bothers me now. As for my favorite game in the series, I'd have to say it would be Double Dash, though MK7 is getting up there.

The only flaw of MK7 is the character roster and battle system. The pros of MK7 are the courses, online play, items, and fairness of the game which make it supperior to all other Mario Karts.

^What's wrong with the battle system? I don't play it as much but it seems fine to me.

Also, it seems many like DD the most, yet I haven't heard anyone say why it's their fav. I'd like to their reasons as I'll admit I didn't play DD much.

I like MK DS battle system the best. I didn't like how MK7 had a timed battle system.

I personally liked the two-char per kart mechanic in DD, as well as many of the course designs. MK Wii I found to be a bit too chaotic with 12 racers, although to be fair its probably one of my lesser-played MK games so I probably just didn't get fully adjusted to it.
