And it really is the opposite of what he's said. I've seen a shit ton more xbox people say they are moving to playstation because of the way MS tried to fuck us over. I really don't care who buys what, but he can't deny the backlash MS got that hurt them more than the 180 has helped them.

My own circle of close friends is a completely different story from what it was last generation. Out of eleven of us, only three bought a PlayStation 3. One of those three also bought an Xbox 360 which was his primary platform. The rest were all strictly Xbox. This time, only one of us is buying an Xbox One for sure but he's also getting a PlayStation 4. A couple of us might buy an XOne down the road when the price drops. Based on early consumer indications around the world and the support of a significant majority of people on convention floors and polls across the internet, Sony has nothing to worry about. Any claims of "so many PS fans jumping ship" are so ridiculous it just shows the desperation of certain hardcore Xbox fans. Like the ones who keep spreading rumors that secretly their system is more poweful. How many times did the RAM rumor pop up before Microsoft officially shot it down only to have them continue to insist that the rumor could still be true?
In a way I find it hard to blame them. They so eagerly anticipated Microsoft to dominate this generation only to watch an embarrassing PR comedy show. They watched the Kinect go from being touted as part of the "core experience" to right back into a gimmick accessory with a couple Kinect-specific games that no one seems to care about while games like Ryse and Crimson Dragon quickly dropped the Kinect-focused controls. They watched as Sony released a slightly more powerful platform at a cheaper entry price, solidified its relationship with Indie developers while Microsoft damaged theirs, made enough improvements to the controller that a great many people prefer it over the XOne controller, and all while realizing that the Xbox One will not have the one year advantage that the Xbox 360 did to help it win so much mindshare. Even scarier to think that even with that advantage, the 360 still came in last for worldwide console sales.
Mind you, that's not ALL Xbox One fans. There are plenty I've spoken to who are very fair in their assessment of the state of the console war and who are perfectly capable of acknowledging their favorite company's screw ups. Like Wright, for example. Though it must be embarrassing for them to be on the same side as people who say "power doesn't matter, the games do" only to then make a post promoting a rumor with little to no credibility stating that the Xbox One MAY in some way few will notice be around 1% better in a very specific area and calling it proof that the Xbox One is actually more powerful overall. Let's also take a moment of silence for the mouthbreathers who honestly believed the cloud was going to make the Xbox One three times more powerful within 5 years time while PlayStation fans would have to buy a new console all over again just to keep up.
