Oh Teh Saltiness. This forums will taste like the dead sea when it releases with good sales. 6 million and counting.

With the ps4 release, this has a shot at 8 million lifetime. this is excellent for a game that was expected to luckily sell 1.5-2 million lifetime because of its genre according to some members here. Now 9 million is a possibility.

Why do people got to hate on it? What does it hurt?

Especially since people have been asking for a PS4 version of this game since before the release of the PS3 version. This port was heavily requested for months now and as soon as it's confirmed some people start acting as if Sony are just greedy and cheap for doing this.

I can only hope that we'll see the same people react the same way to a GTA V next gen port.

Driveclub will not include microtransactions! :D

Some people, please note that I said SOME, hate it because it is an amazing game that is now coming to PS4 and represents a significant boost in quality for the PS4's library of exclusives. So they will use any excuse they can muster to downplay it. It's also coming at a time when there are a great many people still on the fence and this could push them over. It's great news for someone like me who never had his own PS3 and didn't get to play The Last of Us. Now imagine people who owned Wii's or 360's debating on what to get and they see the 2013 Game of the Year, one of the top games of the 7th generation, and one of the best games the PS3 had to offer being brought very soon to the PS4 with enhanced visuals and all the DLC. A lot will bite. It's also releasing in the Summer which is looking pretty dry for the competition as far as retail exclusives go.

Who knows.  It's my $60 and I can do what I want with it.  It's well worth the $60 for me.  Full upgraded graphics including resolution, fps, textures, models, lighting, shadows, AA, etc.  On top of that over $20 of DLC that is upgraded as well is included.  And the fact that it's the best game of all time for me means it's a must have.

Also even Bruce Straley stated that they didn't think the port would go anywhere.  But so many people asking for a ps4 port was what drove them to double down and get it ready to release.   When ND says they are doing it for the fans, you best believe they are telling the truth.  I personally can't say I have that much faith and trust in any other developer but ND.

Never played The Last of Us, so I'm hoping someone with the Left Behind DLC can answer this question for me?
So, in the Left Behind DLC, you could set up enemies and infected up against each other so they kill would each other, correct? And this feature wasn't in the game itself, correct? If both correct, I wonder if they'll include it in the PS4 version.

Yes, that's both correct and no, I don't see them including this in the campaign of the PS4 version, the combat scenarios are very carefully constructed so they make sense in the story of the game, there aren't many scenes that I can think of where it would make sense to just add hunters/infected into an already existing "battle arena". But the new difficulty mode will be included and who knows what that'll be.
