Realistically you'll be a lot happier if you stop caring for trophies/achievments. It's like being released from shackles. No longer do you have to spend 5 hours trying to find every obscure "feather" in a game, or some other crap that's utterly useless. If you're worried about games, you still have your 360 that plays what you bought. Just get a PS4 and get an Xbox One when it's cheaper and bundled with Halo... or whatever title you enjoy. |
Well, that is probably true, but it is really hard once you have started ;) They knew what they were doing when they introduced that crap unfortunately. It was motivating in the beggining and "smart" achievements/trophies really gave you some enjoyment and could ltd you to spent more times on a game (I would've hated Dead Rising without Achievements, but loved it thanks to them "guiding" me later on), but nowadays it has just become tedious and is more of a bad habit. A really annoying one.
It is actually on the good things on my PSN-Account. I really don't care about trophies because of my xbox-account, so I could fully enjoy my time with Vita and PS3 titles, which I mostly bought on release date, because those were games I was waiting for for some time. On the 360 I'm almost always glancing over some sort of achievement guide when playing, especially since I don't get 90% of the games before they drop in price by at least 50%. So with those I games I don't care that much about spoilers, even though I still hate following collectible guides and wasting time with them. But looking something up while playing a game like Beyond, Zero Escape, P4G or TLOU would kill me. Maybe I'll wat for a Killzone review.
