I'm still fucking unsure whether to get an xbox or PS4 on launch day ... I've been playing multiplat games on the 360 this whole generation because of the late PS3 release date/price (apprentice back than) and the, in my opinion, fantastic 360 controller. There was no reason to play multiplat titles on the PS3 back than.
But the PS3 exclusives destroyed the 360 exclusives, especially towards the end of this gen, when the japanese started dishing out higher quality titles after switching over form the PS2. MGS4, Uncharted, Beyond (yeah, I loved it despite the gameplay), Heavy Rain, TLOU and Valkyria Chronicles were hands down the best games I played this generation, plus the other exclusives like DW7 Empires or Way of the Samurai 4, Xillia etc. ... compared to zero "must buy" exclusives on the 360. I didn't even even really enjoy GoW or the Halo games besides 4 player coop. Tales of Vesperia is probably the only really good (western...cannot speak japanese yet) exclusive I played.
It is almost a joke. My personal taste is 99% Playstation, but because of the situation last gen I'm stuck with a PS-Account with 20+ (great) exclusive games played in comparison to an xbox account with over 200 games played of which the majority are multiplat titles. But would you drop an account and friendlist you spent thousands of hours on over the last 8 years?
It's a really hard decision, bc my first console will be my multiplat console this generation ... and I could probably roll just with a PS4 for this whole generation, while buying a xbox first would force me to buy a PS4 later, because im 99% sure there will be exclusives that I have to play. I'd already throw 400 bucks at them just for another game like Last of Us or Heavy Rain.
