Aquestion guys does anyone know if any Video capabilities are apparent beyond online services? I have so many mp4s, mkvs and various other videos both personal and commercial that I would like to be able to play.

I am leaning towards a NO because MP3 support is out but maybe someone knows something

I believe there is gonna be a patch to let us play videos off of a USB stick/HDD, and I assume copy them over and play them too, in April next year. This is coming from Famousmortimer from gaf, btw. He said he talked to a sony rep he knows. Oh and there will be an update for ps4 that patches in MP3, suspend and resume, and DLNA support. That's suppose to be in the 2nd update.

Already 20 PS4 DAY ONE buyers in this thread! Pretty incredible.

I'm day 1 for a UK PS4 (29th November) I'm getting the Killzone mega bundle which has 2 Dual Shocks, KillZone and a PlayStation Eye. Also contemplating Knack or FIFA, but I'll decide that on the day.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

All power in such a small box. Yeah, it'll look like a thin eraser.

I know you guys don't keep up with GAF, so I'm just reporting that Uncharted 4 by ND is a go. Apparently it's being announced at the launch event or the vgas
