I think some significant partnership game between Nintendo and a 3rd party will be announced.

EA seems to be moving further and further away from Nintendo

Ubisoft and Activision are commited to next gen Sony and MS

Konami's biggest title, MGS, will be on PS4/720

Nintendo announces that devs can now use the not allowed to use 200+mb of ram!

Not sure.  But I think Nintendo feels the need to do something further.  A Bayonetta type move.  They already have taken the step of publishing Ninja Gaiden, Lego City, Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta.  One more step of that nature is not hard to imagine.  They have 10 billion burning a hole in the bank and they have the publishing power to make hits out of games that otherwise wouldn't be.  Bayonetta, for example, I think will be a moderate hit simply because a lot of Nintendo gamers will buy it because Nintendo is publishing it.  And they will give it big promotion and a prime release time.

I think Nintendo will form an agreement for exclusivity, timed-exclusivity or in the very least ensuring the game is on the Wii U platform.  It could be publishing GTA5 for Take Two like they did for Ninja Gaiden.  It could be helping a smaller dev produce a game with funds. It could be a Wii U Monster Hunter 4 HD exclusive as they seem to have a good relationship with Capcom.  I would almost bet that Nintendo will have one more of these type of 3rd party deals in place for E3. It will be their big shocking moment to go along with the reveal of titles like Mario, Mario Kart and Retro's game.

EA, Ubisoft and Activision are not the type of groups I'm talking about.  Those companies received a major portion of their revenue from Wii.  They will make games for Wii U as long as there is money to be made, simple as that.  Ubisoft and Activision in particular have already shown great Wii U support for now and the future. Those companies aren't interested in overly significant exclusivity for any platform.

Konami is a bit of another story, but I see no reason why the next MGS wouldn't appear on Wii U.  Especially for Japan, it only makes sense.  I actually think it's likely, especially since the Wii U leak from a while back listed several games that have all now been announced as real.  I think the only ones left are Final Fantasy and MGS... so I would expect them to probably be announced too.

don't forget most 'larger' companies are actually made up of smaller studio's so it could be a partnership with one of these...

You gotta love how none of the OP's "megatons" were really all that "megaton-ish", no offense but none of those things would be in the least surprising, and zero Nintendo/Wii U games were thrown in.

Maybe these won't be surprises either, but I'll throw a couple Nintendo ones in to balance it out.

Retro Studios' project FINALLY revealed, for Wii U, and naturally it will be amazing.

3D Mario gets shown off, ISN'T merely Mario Galaxy 3, and is the most jaw-dropping 3D Mario yet produced.

Mistwalker's next big rpg revealed, Wii U exclusive.

Next Mario Kart is finally shown off, hopefully will have nothing at all to do with Bikes, or gimmicks at all for that matter.

Monster Games' next project finally shown off.......hopefully Wave Race (I wish) or F-Zero?

I'm gonna throw a random one out there, and propose that Nintendo shows something totally unexpected off from their own internal studios. Personally, I'd die and go to heaven if it was Star Tropics 3. But on a realistic note, probably a new IP.

P.S. Whoever said a new 2D Metroid (though I'd prefer to play it on the big screen on Wii U), and The Last Guardian still coming out for PS3, I absolutely wish those would happen.

Of course OP didn't include Nintendo. The bias is strong with this one. I personally think Nintendo does have the best chance to 'win' E3 this year, but seeing how they disappointed everyone last year i would be surprised if they won it. They confirmed Mario Kart and new 3D Mario playable, they confirmed Smash Bros at least in screenshot form, its pretty obvious the new MonolithSoft game will be there with even better graphics than the Nintendo Direct reveal tho i doubt playable. I'm certain a Majoras Mask 3D will be playable, Wind Waker HD playable, Yarn Yoshi playable, some news on the new HD Zelda though i doubt it'll even have screenshots, more Pokemon X/Y information, more surprise exclusive sequels like Bayonetta 2 (which would also be playable i would hope), GTAV confirmed, Gears Trilogy (now im just dreaming), ACIV playable.

They cant possibly stuff that up can they lol.

Gears on PS4 would not surprise me at all.
I just hope Nintendo have some Megatons, they desperately need them.
