It's too late now, just like the Game Boy Micro was. Now Wii U is here and as cheap as £200 in some shops already, what is the point in a mini Wii, it don't even have wifi!

While I agree it is too late, (should have hit in 2011) I doubt the audience it's aimed at care if it has Wifi.

Around the Network

this should have come out like a year ago before wii u.

granted us Nintendo fans will know what it is, sure I would pick one up for retro feel of it (at the right bargain price) but regular consumers will be like DAFUQ is this?

Ah well, it should sell better than Wii U around here! *scnr* :P

On a more serious note, I have not yet seen the thing in any stores. But just checked and most local retailers list in on their websites. Don't know why it's not in the stores yet. The price tag of 99 € is pretty good and that alone should move some consoles. It's a pretty good deal for kids. And no, I'm not saying Nintendo is only for kids, but a cheap console is the way to go for a younger audience and all that Nintendo Goodness can be played by all ages.
