GT6 is rumored to be a PS3 game, is it not? Can't wait to see what else ND is up to.

that it comes to the PS3 doesn't mean it won't come to the PS4

it could be a cross platform game

i'm sure the assets are good enough for the PS4 already

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

You guys! Don't worry about Naughty Dog! What I've heard they're working on a new IP, UC4 and an old franchise (MAYBE even two)... But take that with a grain of salt I guess, since I've heard that from a 3rd party developer and can't back that up.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

People, there's no way ND is developing Jak and Daxter. Just compare Uncharted and Jak sales. Makes no sense at all. If anything I guess they could do something like the last Sly game. Ready at Dawn already made a Jak and a Daxter game so they could be making one for PS4 as well.

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

i wonder what naughty dog will show at E3? its gotta be U4!

Hmm. A lot of people want Uncharted, but a lot of people want to see a new Jak & Daxter too. Could be a whole new IP as well, who knows.

Bet it'll be awesome though :]

Probably wont be a new IP considering TLoU is the latest new IP they have and it is coming out for PS3. But there's still a chance though I think there's a higher chance it'll be UC4 due to the fact they'll need a AAA title early on for the PS4.

Which would you prefer on the PS4?

a new Uncharted or a new Jak & Daxter?

Tbh I kind of would like to see both of them >_<. If I had to choose though i'd say a new Uncharted.

That is a tough one.  Both amazing series but Id go with uncharted.  Uncharted is one of the greatest series ive ever played and Nathan Drake could go on 20 adventures and id be fine with it XD

But then again a little break from him might be a good thing too.  Naughty Dog is just an amazing team though so whatever they make im sure it will be good XD

I love his Drakiness and would love to see him in many more adventures but I only wish they mixed up the story a bit. We know he will encounter supernatural elements, encounter long lost civilisations (all of which have fallen and are dead pretty much), have to save the world from supernatural or other threat and the game will end up with the place destroyed and Drake without a cent. Dont get me wrong - UC does this incredibly well but I would like a major change or surprise somewhere.

Youre right.  In each game it followed a similar story so they do need to mix it up a bit.  I loved Uncharted 3 playing him as a kid though XD

Totally agree - I really liked the backstory and how they met. Hopefully we see more reveals in the following games. I would love to find that Drake has a long-lost brother or sister, even if it would be a bit of a cliche.

Well that was not unexpected. So much for "Sony supports their consoles for more than 10 years!" Well if support means producing + technical services sure. But don't expect much first party games in 2014 for the PS3 except MLB The Show.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I don't think it is about what I believe, or necessarily even what you believe. Most of the people who listened to, or read those comments. Probably thought that life cycle was synonymous with support cycle. As in continued first party support. His argument in support of his first statement made it seem like that was what he was talking about. That Sony was going to continue to provide first party support for its platform right up to the ten year mark. I had it explained to me as exactly that over and over again on these forums.

I know it isn't likely that Sony will ever be held to account for fostering false expectations. At least on these forums, and many other such forums such as this, but doesn't every promise broken, or at least perceived to have been broken. Damage the brand to one degree or another. What would you say to someone who thought that they were going to get that level of support for ten straight years. To keep them from holding a grudge against Sony, and maybe even deciding to stop gaming with them?

It is really a pretty good question that deserves a answer. We have a number of brand haters on these forums. That went from being supporters of a brand. Until they were slighted by that brand one too many times, and now they spit venom on those brands constantly. How do you turn somebody around based on what this story is tell us. I sure as hell have no clue as to how to do that.

I know it is a common practice on these forums to argue that the failings of another justifies the failings of oneself. The thing is that is just all about trying to change the subject. It isn't any kind of a defense. I cannot commit a crime against someone, and offer up as my defense. That somebody else committed a crime against somebody else, and since. That person and I are equally bad. I should be let off the hook for what I did. Microsoft and Nintendo didn't create this understanding in the heads of Sony fans. That is something Sony did to its fans.

Anyway back to the point. How do you explain to a Sony fan that may feel betrayed in this instance by Sony. That they aren't actually being betrayed?

Where did you ever get the implication that Sony meant the PS3 would get heavy first party support for ten years? I don't recall Sony saying that. What they did say was that the PS3 would have a ten-year life cycle, which can only be confidently interpreted as receiving support and being on sale for ten years. And as it stands now, nothing suggests that the PS3 won't have support during the next few years. They've even explained their ten-year plan by directly referencing the PS2 as an example. Meaning by ten-year plan, they mean a life cycle similar to the Ps2, rather than ten years of heavy first party support like you're suggesting. I'm not sure how you came up with that idea.

Not a big deal, it would be a problem if they were making games for Nintendo ....

Poor Vita...

lol, that's what i was thinking too.

And that is what I said in the PSVITA thread.  Most top tier Sony developers dont give a damn about the handheld.  They consider it a "second class citizen".   We all know that the PS4 will be amazing with Uncharted4, GOW4, GT7, Infamous3, K4, Knack, and many, many more; but the the VITA is not having anything anytime soon. I  know Sony made some games for it, but the only AAA games are Uncharted and Gravitiy Rush, the others are not so good in my opinion, and I think that is what most people think, because if not the VITA would be selling like crazy right now.

Hopefully Sony will invest more in their potable studios, because the only dedicated studio for the handheld is Bend Studios, which made an absolutely amazing job with Uncharted, but Sony needs that all of their studios to have 1 team to make VITA games.

I know Sony respects the creative vision of the companies, but it would be nice that if they would incentivate their studios, somehow, to make a VITA games.

The only ones that could sell you the system are Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Littlebigplanet; but those are very few, and you would need to be a harcore PS fan to buy the game because of those (like me and most people here), meanwhile the others are just diluded versions of the PS3 or too niche/hardcore for most people to care, like Persona 4.     Very few people will buy a vita just for Persona4.  Even the AC3:L is good but nothing OMG! Wipeout is nice, but it does not sell consoles.   What sony needs is to increase the variety, quantity and quality of the titles available for the handheld.  That will increase the sales, and we gamers will be really happy about it, because we wil get great 1st party games, and due to sales increase, we will be getteing more 3rd party titles too.

I believe Sanzaru games have earn the right to make Sly Cooper, Ratchet & Clank and Jak & Daxter games.  Sly Cooper: thieves in time is the best Sly cooper games I have played, it is really fun to play, so I believe they would make an outstanding job with the other 2 franchises.

I saw capcom show clips from onimusha at the ps4 reveal (old game scenes) I hope this is a game that they bring back
