Did you download a demo or something? If not then why don't you just go to the store and buy the game. Unless you live on a deserted island or something I really don't see the advantage of downloading.

Don't have to store discs in my house.
Don't have to worry about discs getting damaged or lost by my kids filthy little hands.
Don't have to get off my ass to change discs to play something different.
Load times and such are non-existent if done correctly.
There's your advantages.

1. Yeah I suppose, but you can get a very cheap media storage tower for about $50 (or less) that can hold several hundred games if not more.
2. You don't have to worry about the discs, but what about that expensive console, or that Wii U pad controller that can't be replaced? How are you protecting them? Could always get a locked cabinet or put them in a locked drawer.
3. Oh come on. This day and age we could all use the exercise.
4. I am not sure how it works on the Wii U, but on the Xbox you can install discs and have the same effect.
To each his own, but I just don't see the advantage of digital download. Also there is the issue that you can never trade those games ever, and you are one HDD crash from losing your entire game collection since (correct me if I am wrong) Nintendo does not let you redownload your games on another Wii U system.
