Will not achieve Critical Acclaim but its okay, Drake loves her anyway! Great scores overall.

Ironically I'm kinda disappointed because now I'm tempted to buy it despite still not liking the change in direction/gameplay. An hour of QTE is like death to me but it shows promise beyond that.

The SP has looked fantastic and while the MP looked sub-par I don't care because I never play online MP (well almost never). Looks like it'll be a fun game to keep around and play through once a year or so just like Uncharted for the cinematic experience.

$quare-€nix must have oiled the review machine real good - TR used to be all about exploration, puzzles and Lara being bad ass (yes, even from her teenage days), and occasional combat.

Now they devolved TR into this mess of psycho Lara who is at one moment shaken and scared, and in the next violent, gory killer with expertise of MI6 operative - I'm guessing this is what Crystal Dynamics thought would make for believable "character progression and growth" to make TR "relevant" in modern age.

If that's the best they can do, it was much better to leave her to rest in peace. And I'm saying this as 16+ year long TR fan.

Oh, that one is exceptional - all the time it sound like it's 6, 7 at most, but then it ends up with 8.5. Now, knowing that Justin Speer wrote it, it almost looks like someone from higher-up just slapped the number at the end not to piss SE off.

Why are you surprised? It's developed by a great team.

I hope the game has tons of exploration and not unchartified.

I plan on getting this game,but not on day one. I love the series,but I have to many other games I want to focus on at the moment.
