As I see it MS totally outwitted sony this gen. They are in a way better position and made a ton of money. MS will be on par with them if the other rumors that actually hold wieght come true.

With the little information I have right now the 720 will look VERY disappointing to a great many people. BUT, I also would like to point out that this certainly must be subject for change, and if the situation changes I will let you know.


Okay. For a moment let us assume that I believe you. How credible is your source? Yes he is a developer, but are you sure he is close enough to get decent information? I'm not interested in details since if true then you have to protect your source, but I just want to know how certain you are that this person who is divulging 'information' is not just selling you dreams.

Well, he was right about PS4's specs being higher than rumored, that you could stream PS4 games to your Vita and stuff like that. He even played KZ4 before the announcement. He has made predictions that has come true... so... yeah...

Don't even start with the no games thing. Are you really stuck in like 07? PS4 conference was good to great but it could never be good enough to dissuade haters from hating it.

 

For your information I think the stuff about Microsoft not having anything to show is a bit far fetched but why the hell are you attacking Sony. It isn't like Jack Tretton is the one saying this stuff.

And I think you are just trolling. I seriously doubt a 3rd party developer (like you claimed your source to be) knows anything about MS first party offerings. Rare, Lionhead, Turn10, Black Tusk Studios, BigPark, GoodScience Studios all confirmed to be working on Xbox 720 games. 343 industries will release Halo 5 in 2014 or 2015, MS Victoria, Lift London, Twisted Pixel, MS Redmond etc. are all working on new games as well. I think MS did a fantastic job to build up their first party studios and it will show.

Read my statement again, I thought I was pretty clear that I was talking about launch titles?

Yeah, if this comes up and slaps you in the face your reputation as DanneSandin will be forever soiled.

Honestly Nintendo hasn't really shown a very strong effort towards anything that would disprove your info. I've heard about some shoddy dev tools and their hardware is extremely customized. The RAM restriction though, that's crazy.

Microsoft concentrating too much on media and creating a console not game heavy enough while not acquiring studios in time for a decent launch line up...doesn't sound too crazy. But given what it seems Sony is pulling off, it is the wrong move.

The drama is thick. This is such an exciting time for gaming.



Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

Seriously though they could probably just bombard the advertisements with $$, get CoD exclusive packs again.

They could probably do that, but sony has made sure that it's not all about the money...
