No offense DS, but I feel similar to Kowenicki about this. Your projections were so vague that anyone who works in our industry could have written them. The way you wrote them also leaves a lot up for interpretation, making it harder for anyone to prove your guesses/insight wrong.

You probably want to stealth edit your OP to replace E3 with reveal conference, btw. :P Unless you still think E3 won't be about games, which Microsoft said it would.

This is concerning E3, but their reveal specifically stated that the reveal was for the console and its media capabilities while E3 will be a focus on game.

I stated in a thread from May 2012... that's a year ago.. that MS (and to and extent others) would be equally focused on services and games for their upcoming consoles. My prediction (no insider source) was clearly more accurate than your OP.

In fact, when E3 comes, your OP could be 100% wrong as they could show off 10-20 games coming at launch with say 3-5 exclusives and that clearly goes against your OP.

Sorry man, but I don't think you can claim victory yet unless E3 truly only shows the obvious multiplats (that are even coming to PS360) and like 1 or 3 nextgen only games or better yet 1 or no exclusives.

Pretty spot on in my opinion. The only part that was probably wrong was that this was the reveal conference and not E3. But as far as i know at one stage MS was not planning a pre E3 event only until later this year.

And yeah a lot of people are saying its obvious etc. but the fact that those 3 points were highlighted means something. Its not like you just listed a million things and 3 of them happened to hit.
