For psp legend of heroes is brilliant.
oh oh oh, Mario & Luigi's Bowser's Inside story!
currently playing it and wow! this game is beyond amazing.

WII U // PC // 3ds XL // VITA
I really love valkyria chronicles. It's a shame we never got the 3rd in english, and even with the 2nd, they didn't polish up the concept, which imo the gameplay could have been brought up to another level if they fixed some exploits.
But it's a fantastic game, with unique mechanics. It also looks great, something that a lot of SRPG's lack.
The new XCOM is pretty good, though imo a bit overrated and a bit dissapointing from the first one, but a lot of people seem to love it. it's more of a strategy game with RPG Elements.
The new Fire Emblem, or any fire emblem.

Add to that Rainbow Moon too
The New Fire Emblem is amazing. Though somewhat different from other SRPGS. Depending how far back your willing to go really will depend though outside that, for there are tons of good SRPG games, mostly PS1/PS2 in english.

That game is realy good if you like RPG's. Turn based with a twist, for the better :)
Azure dreams for PS1. love that game, pokémon on crack.
It is turned based in the same way as chocobos dungeon. each move/action you make, the enemy takes one turn.

Id be interested in hearing any for PS1/PS2. Though Im trying to stay closer to PS3 or PSP just because it would be easyer to find the games. Is Fire Emblem really that good? Seems like everyone is suggesting that.
Phantasy Star IV on the Sega Genesis
SW KOTOR for Xbox or PC
Skies of Arcadia for the Dreamcast or Gamecube
Grandia 2 for the Dreamcast or PS2
Shining Force 1 & 2 for Sega Genesis
Shining Force 3 for Sega Saturn
Lost Odyssey for the Xbox 360
and the best turn based RPG of all time:
Panzer Dragoon Saga for the Sega Saturn
You should also look into getting yourself Pier Solar HD when it comes out. I prordered it for Sega Dreamcast, but it's coming to XBLA, Wii U eShop, Android and iOS.

I think it would of been if it didn't allow units to take 3-4-5 moves the same turn. That realy took too much challenge and too much strategy OUT of the game generally took a focus away from intellegent group formations and positioning.
