lol.... did you look at the pdf? |
Yes i did and it says nothing like i mentioned earlier. I work for a pretty huge corporation in Euopre, RWE, and the departement i work at does exactly this kind of thing. It take about a week or two to organise an event of this size. PC's have revolutionized the way we work. Amazing, no?

that proves it then... obviously. |
The only thing that's obvious here is that you have nothing to add besides biased speculation.
Because I'm a nice guy:
March 5:
March 6:
March 7:
Clear to everyone now? Not rushed. You don't create an event like this based on a announcement from a competitor based on a single product line

I have added information that i know to be real. You are guessing. |
I'm surprised the word real seems to exist in your dictionary based on the 'information' you've been providing. I leave the guessing to you as you have yet to add anything real, there's that word again ;), as i mentioned earlier.
Why would anyone think this is a rush job? This isn't even a public event to announce the 720. This is an internal event for most of Microsoft's products.

@Somini
I think you drastically overestimate Sony's importance in the grand scheme of things. Microsoft has real rivals, and Sony just isn't one of them. It doesn't come anywhere fucking close to being any kind of real threat to Microsoft. I can only conclude that you are confused as to what Sony is all about these days. Sony's core business seems to involve them losing their investors money. They are doing really well with this business model of theirs. They haven't shown a profit in five years.
What do you think it was easy for them to lose all that money last quarter while up against a holiday season that was really a improvement over the previous holiday season, and with a chaser of improved exchanged rights. I will tell you this it takes a incredible amount of fail to ensure that the cluster fuck still arrives on time. Yeah I can totally see Microsoft getting scared by a company that is all of two years away from bankruptcy and liquidation.
I bet by now I have you fuming or foaming whatever the case may be, and I think you needed a little dose of that to bring you to your senses. Seriously the frenzy is winding down, and while I appreciate why you might want to ride that rush you felt. It isn't the reality of the situation, and continuing to do so is going to take you somewhere that at the end of the day you aren't going to like one bit. Keep egging people on, and you are not just guaranteed a fight, but a pretty ugly one for you.
You seem to have forgotten in your passionate zeal for all things Sony. That Sony also lays claim to most of the very public failures of last generation. Frankly the other side in this little pretend war holds more ammunition then you do, and if history is any indication. Sony fans have a pretty thin skin when it comes to hearing things they don't want to hear about anymore. I am just pointing out that by trying to twist the meaning of this corporate meeting to serve your own twisted little purposes. You are pouring fuel on a fire, and you better be willing to live with the very real consequences if it blows up in your face.
I really wonder if you actually thought that anyone would buy into your reasoning, or it would accomplish anything at all. Other then to try to antagonize other posters. The purpose of the meeting is in the fucking name. It is a annual meeting for management, and it happens every year for most big companies. It isn't cooked up in a couple weeks. It is planned months in advance. So they can give advanced notice to those that will attend to book their flights, and their hotel rooms. Oh my god this little meeting isn't happening at a hotel is it.

The only product that Sony has the even competes with Microsoft is the Playstation so he is talking about the Gaming side.Other than that MS doesn't care.
