No. I'm saying paying for online isn't seen as evil if Blizzard does it, but for if MS does it people act like stealing money from orphans. I'm also asking if all online fees are fundimentaly wrong or just the ones fans don't have the cash for?
Isn't the issue to do with how the PS3 does it all for free? It's like charging for Pepsi when you can get Coke on tap. It just seems a bit odd.

but the ones paying for WoW aint the same saying XB on-line should be free...
if you find a person that pays for WoW and refuse to pay for XB gold then take your questions to him.

You shouldn't have to pay to play a MMO that you already paid for. Paying for Xbox Live was resonable when the Xbox's competitors didn't offer online multiplayer, but now they do.

What exactly is this "everything" that I gain access to? Once I pay for Live, I need to pay for other services that I want to use. For instance, if paying for Live granted me a Netflix subsciption, that would totally justify the price. Paying for online for games that MS didn't even develop themselves? MMO subscription costs are justified because of the high maintanence costs for servers in order to house all their players.
I don't play MMOs and never really understood why people payed so much monthly to play them. Similarly for console games, I prefer Sony because they let you play something you already paid for when buying the game without charging extra.

Guild Wars has free online, but World of Warcraft costs $15 a month. Guild Wars fans don't call Wolrd of Warcraft fans names for enjoying their game, but XBL Gold is seen as some kind of big scam when it's such a tiny fee that most people probably spend tripple on candy every month without noticing.
People dont pay Xbox Live fee's to play all of those games that you showed. Its primarily for Sports & Shooters and XBLA that uses online, thats pretty much it outside of entertainment which should be free anyone. Xbox Live locks you out of further play of your games you paid $60 for which just so happen to play online. Then ontop of that we pay Activision a 1/6 of the amount because COD is sooooo popular on Xbox Live.

Exactly this. You put it better than I could. If someone pays for WoW and then complains about XBL, then you can brand them as whatever you like.
