Forums - Nintendo - Waiting E3

It’s hard to believe, but the Wii U has been on store shelves for nearly three months now. As Nintendo’s first HD home console comes into its own and seeks to find its place in the modern gaming market, the system’s future is still largely unknown - but we do, at least, have an idea of what’s to come. A recent Nintendo Direct revealed that a new 3D Mario platformer from the Galaxy team, a brand new Mario Kart, the first HD Zelda, Fire Emblem X Shin Megami Tensei, Watch Dogs, an HD remake of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Zelda HD and more are all on the horizon for Nintendo’s latest console

I just want to see "X" gameplay and landscapes.

And some Zelda concept art or something

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

I`m more humble: i just want to see everything! :D
Really, looking forward to everything announced and hoping that the 3rd party situation didn`t get worse. Also, would like to see how Nintendo`s relationship with Indie devs has improved. So far seems great.

Smash Bros and Mario Kart will help life sales, but if they could Mario 3d and Mario Kart (like they did for 3DS) this holiday it will do very well indeed. PS4 and nextbox may overshadow it though.

I can't wait to see what they do with the next 3D Mario game.

They don`t need a Mario/Mario Kart combo this time. One of them is enough because Nintendo already has Zelda.
Of course, it would be better if Zelda had a special edition Wii U just for this situation!

Zelda isn't slated for release until Fall 2014, which basically means we won't be getting it until Fall 2015.

They have Wind Waker for Autumn -  or was it October?

Nintendo needs to show alot at E3 this year to kickstart sales and regain all the ground they will have lost to Sony and M$ by then in terms of coverage and hype.

-3D Mario better be a helluvalot more than just Mario Galaxy in HD.

-Mario Kart U better come with a TON of online features and modes, and this goes for the next Smash too. Quick, random matches with people might have cut it back in the late 90's / early 00's when online multiplayer was in its infancy on consoles, but not today.

-I don't care if it's Nintendo, Retro, or someone else... but they HAVE to show off an exclusive game that demonstrates the power of the Wii U, and that it's not just on par with PS360. Here we are in 2013 with a brand new console, and so far NONE of the games look any better than what is currently on PS360... in fact, many of them look even WORSE that the AAA exclusives on current gen consoles. Nobody wants to drop $300-$350 on a console just to play the same old rehashes.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Ah, you're right. I wasn't really counting that because I don't think it'll be a "system seller."

I'll still buy it, though...eventually.
