Forums - General Discussion - 'Quantum of Solace' is next Bond film

sounds pretty wicked cool !!!

I loved CR the most of any bond film, I hope they keep heading the direction that they are.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

I strongly disagree. The first 30 minutes (including the great intro credits) or so were great, but then it was quite bad. And the ending was very poor.

I think it was too much XXX (which was almost unwatchable) and too little Bond.

I definitely prefer this style to the old Bond movies.

Daniel Craig rocks.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

A 'piece of peace'?

@ Benkenobi8- I agree, Daniel Craig is the man.

I grew up watching the Brosnan Bond films so I just have a bias towards those. Goldeneye is still one of my favorite Bond movies ever. Casino Royale was ok but it was too chaotic and hard to follow at times, and I dunno I just don't buy Craig as Bond just yet. Maybe it's just something I have to get use to.

@ metallicube, same for me in term of Brosnan, a great bond, and those are the films that I remember the best, although I have seen nearly all of them at some point. I really enjoyed Casino Royale, especially the second time round cause I had the satisfaction that it was free (for signing up to PSN).

The title is a bit odd, but I still can't wait to see this on November 7th

I agree with Ben and Dallinor. Craig has been a great change and the new style is perfect. The title is a little weird though.

XXX?

Maybe the old Pierce Brosnan ones... CR was relativly realistic. That is why it was the most succesfull Bond film yet!

Yes, XXX with Vin Diesel. They went for a more "modern" and realistic Bond. And Bond IMHO shouldn't be realistic at all, that's the whole point with Bond.

I'm Pro-Pierce.
