What's there to worry about? Non-Nintendo devices will be able to play graphically superior games. That's pretty much it.

Fixed for clarity.

Yes, that's exactly what I understood you were saying.

So what's there to worry about?

ask annoyed gamer

The question is whether 3rd parties will bring graphically and technologically gimped versions of their games to the Wii U, unlike what they did current gen with the Wii.

Plus given the difference in tech between the two consoles, once a few years pass and devs can harness the power of PS4 truly (compare PS3 games at launch to now), I don't know if it would be a very easy transition to scale down their entire game for the Wii U, not just graphics wise but the entire experience. If they could do that, then I don't see why devs would just not release versions of their games for the PS360 for the next 5-8 years to come. I guess we will find out this E3 when companies start announcing their games for the Sony and MS platforms and see if they include Wii U as well or not.

So what exactly impressed? The PS4? Where is it? I want to see the console.
Awww, they cant? Okay, so I cant be sure its just a PC-mainboard with a stamp with "PS4" on it?

Next time i annonce an awesome car, make a presentation with "in-car" 300mp/h without the cockpit and say the car has 10.000 hp. And then i just go away. Without showing the car.
Will the Media be impressed? Of course!
NICE! /s

Its just a fucking box, get over it, they'll show it at a later time.

This is only the box. The console you asked for is inside.

I don't understand why people are saying Sony set the bar high. Most of the conference was other people showing off multiplatform games. It isn't like Sony just kept showing their franchises one after another on top of new IP's. We got a bunch of information of stuff that may or may not be there on launch.

So by this logic Microsoft just needs to bring more/better 3rd party developers to their conference. All Sony had that was OMG look at that was KillZone's graphics and 8gb RAM. If that is setting the bar high then Microsoft really has nothing to worry about.

All this is is hype carrying over. Sony showed so little and people thought it was amazing. No not because it is Sony, but because it was a new console.
