I'm glad I didn't buy MH3 on the Wii. Maybe this is a game that rewards you a lot after putting a whole load of time into it, but the demo didn't click with me.

I think I won't be getting the WiiU version, since it's asking for time I don't have and would rather spend doing other things.

I can definitely see how this game wouldn't click with some people, but the best thing about it won't show up in a demo. The reward is the satisfaction of defeating a monster using all the weapons and tools you've forged for yourself, so just loading up a pre-equipped character won't give you that sense of accomplishment.

Personally I think that making this demo is a bad idea because it seems to paint the game in a bad way.

Same thing happened with the Wii version's demo.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

So I played the demo, and I freaking hated it. Here are my complaints...

I- have no freaking idea what I'm doing. Why is'nt there a clear tutorial or indications about the controls? Is there anything I can do other than the same lame 3hit combo over and over again? Things started to be better when I used items, but other than that all I was doing is smashing the same attack button giving me the same 3hit combo again and again.
-Is there no lock on button? That thing is running around sliding everywhere like crazy, it was extremely anoying having to try to folow it.
-How many times to have to hit the thing in order for it to go down? As far as I know you can't see the monster's hp, at first I thought it was cool to not exactly know when the thing will go down. But after hitting the thing for so long w/o having any clue on when the thing will die, it started to get boring after 10min, it then went from boring to frustrating after 15min.

I'm a total newbie to this game, so maybe I'm wrong in many aspect, but this was the impression gave me, a first time player.

What?! I can't hear you over all this awsome! - Pyrrhon (Kid Icarus:Uprising)

Final Ultimate Legendary Earth Power Super Max Justice Future Miracle Dream Beautiful Galaxy Big Bang Little Bang Sunrise Starlight Infinite Fabulous Totally Final Wonderful Arrow...FIRE! - Wonder-Red (The Wonderful101)

I'm thinking of buying the wiiu/3ds bundle for £70, so me and my lasses son can coop if that's possible

I was decided to purchase this game, then I played the demo for the first time... I didn't know how to attack, roll, shield myself, nothing, long story short the bunny owned me, then I tried again and totally owned the bunny.
Afterwards I tried to hunt down the sea dragon? man, I wasted all of my time finding him, when I actually got to fight him he killed me so easily, on my second run I almost killed him though.

Lets see how I fare on my third attempt, hopefully I'll make that monster my bitch.

After learning how to play this game is fun, I'll be getting this, for sure.

.gamers, don't you think that when you dominate this monster, you will feel the best gamer of all times? because i do every time those bitches are limping hardly. hahaha, there is no game harder than this one, if you become a master on it u will be a true gamer among the few that dominate this game.

It's the thrill of trying to kill but failing miserably that makes it fun.

I don't see why's so hard about working out the controls? This is what I've always done with any game I've played, it one of the stages on the way to becoming good at the game and eventually mastering it.
