no change for Killzone...

Your reading too much into this. Gameplay looks more of the same. Graphics look better. Whats the issue. |
I want Killzone to play like Killzone, why pretend to play like any other game. Last time that happened, we saw a very promising franchise crash nd burn.. Resistance 2

You know you advantage is not because your high FPS... it's because the low FPS (below acceptable) from others gamers... in fact if a game was programmed in the right way a 40FPS user have no advantage over 80FPS user. But some developers insted to make the game create more images to show in the high FPS just make the game run faster... so you will have advantage. Eg. Bad programming. Game output in any FPS: 60 images So the 60FPS guy have the double speedy than the 30FPS guy. Eg. Good programing. Game output for 60FPS: 120 images Game output for 30FPS: 120 images You have better and smothly FPS/graphics but no advantage after all because the gameplay is untouched. But some games in PC when you increase the FPS just increase the speed of the the game... so some developers like to fix the FPS instead to fix the game itself. It's like a movie schene... you have x images to show all the schene... so if you show more images per second you have a fast schene but if you increase the number of images too then you have the same speed for the movive schene showing more images. |
That just goes to show how little you know about FPS in relation to the DPI of a gaming mouse and how they are related to overall response and accuracy, just stick to consoles my man, that's where you belong after all.

Just prove I'm wrong... like alway you have nothing to show to me

What do you mean gameplay is at PS3 level?? It's Killzone gameplay, what did you expect? Unless you meant the graphics, in which case I disagree with you even more.

I always had things to show you, either that or common sense and reading comprehension skills. http://www.gamermc.com/2012/02/16/how-to-optimize-frame-rates-and-mouse-response/
That's a very basic run down of it, you need to really customize and balance it out correctly, it's not as "simple" as consoles' plug and play, it never is, but it's what gives you an edge in online competitive MP if you are skilled enough.

being an enthusiast game developer, I would prefer my game to stick at 30 fps with 2x more intelligent AI, objects, polygon, AA, physics and lightning. I m pretty sure given the specs of ps4 even at 1080p 60fps will blow previous Killzone's out of water. But 30fps wasn't a concern last gen on Killzone so i guess GG decided to stick to that fps and get more stuff going on in the game, which i m glad they took this route.. And for some artist 30fps is more of creative choice, to get to that cinematic look. As to what 24 fps is for films, 30fps is for games

The article just confirmed what I said... anyway the fps has nothing to do with mouse accuracy or response... if the fps is constant is 30fps or 60fps doen't matter the mouse accuray/response is the same... there is just one case when the fps interfere in mouse accuracy/response when the fps is not constant... you say to you game runs in 60fps but the GPU can't to do more than 40fps in most times... if you configure your fps to max 40fps or 30fps in this case then your mouse accruary/response is the same than a guy with 60fps fixed.
Another time and I'm right again... I think just one time I was wrong with you

30 is more in the "good enough" category, I wouldn't call that a standard, it's just "acceptable" to the human eyes with motion blur filters to a lot of people, like a point A to point B car.
