It was nothing but a big begging session to investors by Sony and game developers "Oh we REALLLLY need this system, because it can do so much. Please give us money!"

Notice how no final specs were announced?
Notice how no price was announced?
Notice how no release date was announced?
Notice how no hardware was shown?
Speakers talked that this software was running on prototype hardware.

This is PROOF that Sony is in deep trouble and requires investor support to even get the PS4 off the ground.

The ps4 will be fine, the WiiU on the other hand.......

The WiiU was built with Nintendo's own assets. Sony is flat broke. If Nintendo want to make a console that doesn't sell out of their own money, nobody is stopping them.

By the way, I love your reasoning of "Well at least we're better than the other guy" when it comes to disappointing reviews, because the conference couldn't meet the standards of hype that the fans propelled it to be. Bravo!

I really didn't see anything that could fair badly for Nintendo. Sure they have the weakest console, but this we knew for months. It still scalable so they will see better multi support, but not everything.

As for the exclusives and social integration, the exclusives were almost a given and the social brings it own problems its not a closed system so that brings it own problems.

bethesda said they love the touchpad features that sony will talk about at e3

Gotta say it was pretty solid.

lol @ Square Enix

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

Underwhelming, but that's probably because I was over-hyped for it anyway.

Like I said in the other thread, I really liked that they put the focus on the developers and the games. That is, of course, why I am a gamer.

I also thought acknowledging the architecture mistakes in the PS3 early on was an incredibly clever move, to be honest.

High points included seeing Infamous & Knack from Sony; plus having Blizzard on stage and hearing about Destiny.

All in all, I agree with Axum, about an 8/10. I am certainly looking forward what they bring to E3.

P.S. Cannot believe Square Enix trolled me like that. First announcing they have something to show... Agni's Philosophy again. But wait, they've got something else to say! ... wait for E3.

Seriously. TELL ME WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH VERSUS XIII.

This is why it's good to be a Nintendo Fan (at times.) You go in expecting nothing. You come out with at least something. Amiright? (What all did you expect from this conference, Kresnik?)

inFamous Second Son and Deep Down aren't shooters -.-

Nor Knack; Watch Dogs; The Witness; Diablo 3 etc.

In fact, the majority of the conference had no shooting at all.  Apart from sandwiching the start with Killzone & end with Destiny, it was a pretty shooter-free presentation.

What happened with SquareEnix?

Damn, can I get a link to the damn conference, somebody!? I want to see for myself.

You really know nothing at all about how financials and the market works and you keep going own talking the same thing like a broken record, do you?

By the way, Sony has twice as much cash in bank as Nintendo. And the company is worth a tenth of what it was worth back in 2007 and seems like falling back to their old despair mode now, as they did on the Gamecube era. Have fun enjoying that...

lol guys they won't reveal things like Versus in February! That's the kind of ammo you use closer to release. E3/GC/TGS

Overall a well balanced and very solid reveal. Really enjoyed it
