Is it a mistake from MS to let Sony announce first?

My mate who works in Microsoft said the xbox division went on complete lock down last week, so expect something very soon

They already locked down at last year.

This is the irish division of Microsoft so you know it is a big deal when they are on lock down.

Oh yeah its coming soon.  From what Ive heard the entire Xbox division has almost been impossible to get into for almost a year.  Apparently even if your a MS employee you need rediculous levels of clearance to even get through the doors.  Hopefully an announcement from MS is imminent

He asked the manager of HR and he said it is definitly, 100% out this year.

I remember a rumor saying that the next xbox is having some manufacturing issues so that's probably why MS haven't talk about the system. As for if it would hurt them, I personally don't think so, unless the reveal it's far ahead of the PS4 announcement tomorrow, like even after E3.

Not sure, maybe they should wait until E3. Not even sure why Sony are announcing this now.

It might have more to do with the announcement to coincide with the price cut of the PS Vita.
