This follows on from our news post last week, which reported on rumours that Watch Dogs was headed to 'all home consoles' this holiday season. Gamestop, Amazon and Best Buy are all listing (and taking pre-orders for) Watch Dogs for the Wii U, as well as the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

No news yet on whether it will also be headed to the as-yet-unannounced new consoles from Microsoft and Sony, but so far those original rumours we reported on seem to have been borne out so you wouldn't want to bet against it.

Apparently there are also rumours that Rainbow Six is also coming to WiiU.

In a video posted by the development team the developers at Ubisoft Montréal apologize for the delay and announce that they are putting the game's Online Challenge mode out, as a free download, exclusively for all Wii U users.  This should become available sometime this April.

The Online Challenge mode is far more expansive than a simple demo.  Challenges will be generated daily in five different settings.  They will have online leaderboards and the developers themselves are promising to be playing as well.

Actually, Amazon is taking pre-orders for Watch Dogs on the Nintendo Wii.

Would be cool if true! But it's only logical if the game is headed to PS360 AND PS720...

Well, they just need to buy the U peripheral for the game to work.

Well, it's not that I hated them, but if they had launched rayman legends when they were suposed to, I would have bought the game, because I have nothing new to play at the moment. But watch dogs looks cool, so I might just pick it up.
