Mario, he is the most balanced.. the best charater to get used to the controls... I may use metaknight in some of the early matches because I hear he is very good for beginning.

Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Either Link, Mario, or Metaknight. Mario, because he just seems like a natural character to try first. Link cause he's my favourite and best character in both other games, and Metaknight because he's so damn cool.
