^Haha.

I'm serious

I know, that's what's funny.

Microsoft hasn't been doing anything innovative recently and i'm glad Bill Gates see's that and wants to fix it.

I love Bill, such a stark contrast to Steve.

Where the fuck is the Kaz head?

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

I agree. Instead of attempting to only best other companies, and share the market, they need to cultivate new culture, carve a new path, and innovate. They need to march to their own beat as they had when Windows was first establishing the organization.

It seems that there is a lot of blind adulation for Bill Gates in here, so I offer a dissenting view.

Under Gates Microsoft stagnated, used market position in uncompetitive ways (multiple anti trust suits), and set back the industry as a whole by years. Their current products, windows phone and windows 8 are lamentable at best and miles behind the competition both under the hood and in terms of interface. They are an ageing behemoth who is stuck in the 90's and offers little to the end user. They have flopped in the smartphone and tablet computing area, their server products are laughable, and in high performance computing they are inconsequential.

The xbox has some cool games though.

Is it an American thing to like bill gates? I've personally never seen this much love for the guy.

Pfft looking at your avatar -_- lol

Its just that he is the reason for so many changes in the world.  He is what brought everybody a PC that people could afford and use on a daily basis. If it wasnt for him we may not have 80% of the technology we have today.  People use PC to build technology.  Businesses rely on the PC etc.
