Pureisutēshon Tsu
Pureisutēshon Surī
What comes next is "fo"
Playstation uses "english" numbering in Japan. Not going to get into a huge japanese lesson here, but, Japanese borrows words from other languages. It actually borrows the most words from english and if you'd watched Sony's vita conference yesterday, you may you should have heard some words like, "discount," or some other things... drawing blanks here, but whatever.
the number 4 has multiple pronunciations in japanese, incuding "fo," that would be used in the title of the next PS console. I could get more into that, but, if someone cares, they can explain it.(my memory's not being friendly right now.)
But, anyway, it has not much to do with the way it sounds... It's not like it would be called "Pureisutēshon Shi" anyway.
