I'd really hate to see this thread die. Maybe we could have some topics to discuss?

I'll go first.
Where/how did you meet your current/ex boyfriend? Also, do you think that you could meet a special someone online?

I met him on-line, in a group of Tsubasa Chronicles lol. He lived on south of Brazil and I live in the north. So one day after a few months we decided to live together. It's been 4 years since then :)

was with a married guy last week. havent decided if im a terrible person or not, yet.

He doesn't row.

Jakobs. We know if you've got wood in your hand, you're happy.

That's always a big no no. Try to put yourself in his wife's shoes. It really is a terrible thing.

Rally went well. According to the person I spoke with they had over 200 people there. Not a bad showing for Charleston, South Carolina. It was a lot of older couples too, which made me happy. : )

Gay or straight, it's so nice to see old couples happy together. In most cases it's a strong indication of true love between the couple (while with younger couples it might just be the initial enthusiasm).

Having grown up in Cyprus and Greece, I have to say that it's quite refreshing seeing old couples holding hands in public. Then again, I don't think I've ever seen any old gay couples hold hands or anything in Scotland.

Putting this back up in my VGC Buddy... story of How I Met My Husband to come (don't worry I won't stretch it out over 7 seasons)

A bit off topic but I've been watching that show on Netflix. It took me a while to realize this but with the way Ted describes...well...everything...it only makes sense that his damn story would last at least 7 seasons. lol

The format allows for some really fun quirks to the show like joints being replaced by sandwhiches but it's totally unbelievable that a father would go as far as 7-8 years behind while tell the story of how he met his wife.

Oddly relevant.

So gay marriage is back to the spotlight in my country, as it's supposed to be discussed by the congress. The thing is several people (me included) are caught in optimism and hope for a rare exception, or miracle. Then again, I've read today the position of a person that stated that there are other more important things that should be discussed like adoption, or social rights, that he doesn't want to get married but that he did wanted other rights. I can't go in further detail as I'm rather ignorant in the national legislation. I understand this position, but in a place with a conservative and catholic population, shouldn't we try to get small victories, while aiming patiently for big goals?
