Because it would be validating what the other company is doing at the highest levels.

“We can’t innovate, so we will copy you exactly.”

They want gamers to buy and play on their system.  It would seem silly to give credit when they are playing on another system.



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Actually, I am quite surprized the game didn't sell more. But I don't remember, did people hate the game or did it get bad reviews?

Well, to be fair, a more apt example would be 360 and ps3 getting motion controls.

Unfortunately, psabr is no brawl...but nintendo's best smash was melee, imo.

If psabr was as good of a game as brawl, then your example would work, but it's honestly about half the game the other is. Ring-outs are just such an important part of the game.

PSABR is still a really good game, but I'm hoping they make a sequel for ps4 and fix the mistakes.

Yes, this would include exclusive 360 games. There is no restriction on having trophies for games not on the system. This could help encourage MS fans to give up their gamerscores in exchange for a free online platform, instead of paying so as not to lose their achievements.


Ok, we get it. The idea of paying for online is foreign and scary to you. This debate can never be solved properly. Some like to settle, some like to pay for something better.



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

its not about cost. this could be done even of live wasn't paid. it's about the perception of sunk costa; ie i can't leave live because my gamerscore is valuable.
