Maybe people would like to buy Wii Us if their was something to play on it, other than a Mario game that some people can't even tell the differences from previous NSMB games. We need Zelda, 3D Mario, Mario Kart, Metroid and Super Smash Bros.

Wii U's will start selling once SSB comes out. That's one of the only Nintendo games that core gamers think is worthy of buying a console for. Mario Kart will gasp casuals from the previous Wii in. Get some shooters, decent third party (Just decent, I didn't say good.) online features on par with 360 and PS3 and people will start buying Wii U's like hotcakes, Add a price drop, better advertising, and continued support and Wii U might be up to par with the next gens.

I make bad threads.

SSB really went downhill after Melee....

Since I already have one, I'm just waiting for more games to come out on it. I'm looking forward to some 3rd party stuff, but this wait until summer for Pikmin 3 is KILLING me T_T.

Nope, i already have it and it´s amazing

In november I was like "Take my money", but there was a problem getting delux version.
Then I've heard that "remote play/screen" is only an option for a developer to implement.
It made me: "I'll wait for this super upcomming title Aliens: C.M."
But now I feel so disapointed that I don't want repeat mistake that I've made with 3DS (1st day purchase)

Price doesn't make a difference right now since it's not that expensive to start with, the problem is 3rd party dropped the fucking ball and now Wii U has no games to play during these months and that really blows, not that the lack of games is a problem for people who own multiple systems like me but it will effect a lot of people's buying decisions, and that's why Nintendo is now busting balls showing their 1st party games because as usual, 3rd party publishers don't want to risk anything and miss a lot of potential sales down the line.

i didnt think id use a wii u that much. but my gf bought me one at launch. i use it more than any other device in my house and i own everything.

playon.tv for movies and cable, i prefer as a web browser over my ipad, graphics are nice as my 5870ati, controls are better with touch inventory, i love the enormous screen, and i bring it in multiple rooms.

just saying, originally i didnt want it either.

But the the screen is in a lower res right?, must be hard to read small text etc???.

There is about a 20% difference between resolutions of 1024 x 768 compared to 854 x 480..  I never have a problem.

It's not the 3rd party's that dropped the ball but Nintendo. They should have given the Wii-U a cpu that was equal or faster than that of the 360. It would have made it very easy for developers to port any 360 game to the Wii-U without any major adjustments, since the Wii-U also uses a AMD based gpu and a PowerPC cpu. Instead they took the cheap route and used a lower clocked cpu.
