Yes, that always helps. XD

It's bound to push more people to make the jump, even if just a little. The last thing Sony wants is more people just sitting on their last gen console while waiting for a price cut again. The BC was a key factor for me in getting my PS3, at least.

Yeah same here especially considering rainbow six and nba 2k7 didn't last too long so I was playing ps2 ratchet on it at first. Until tools of destruction and Mgs 4 came out and I rarely looked back (the last thing I did before getting rid of my about to die 60gb was play though psychonauts for the first time in 2010). After hd collections came I didn't miss it since all my favorites are on the ps store or in hd collections now.

BC, it keeps the console worthwhile shortly after launch and it also allows for people to play games which they already own on their new console, as well as being able to buy the previous gen games for the system if they missed them.
