Forums - PC - Apple cuts MacBook prices by up to $200

Nothing major, mostly has to do with SSD prices going down. They haven't lowered the prices of their base models, which is the only thing that counts.

The Mac -is- a PC, aka. Personal Computer.

You could have probably differentiated them from the PC when they used PowerPC, but these days they use PC Processors, graphics, chipsets, memory, drives etc'.
Heck the OS even has roots going back into Unix, it's only the ignorant who truly thinks they are truly completely different incompatible platforms.
You can even run Windows on a mac and vice versa.

I know that. Most people (who own Apple products) don't. I thought my post was fairly clear on that, no? "does that mean that Apples hardware from the same manufacturers the rest of the world uses is no longer magical?" is what I said.
