Haha, I, too, have observed this. I'm not sure, my guess is they attempt to impress them. However, they don't look anywhere near how they think they look.

I typically ignore them as I do most. If a person is cool, that is a mutually exclusive thing to the possible hobby of vidya. It's easier with gamer girls because most are attention whores and benefit off the hobby.
