I have heard of it before, but I've never experienced it. I've already downloaded the actual free titles. I wonder though, if I ever come across anything that shouldn't be free yet I have an empty wallet...will I still get them for free? Or will they bill me?

They generally correct every single issue related to this kind of thing. Happened to someone else on this site earlier. Still working on the kinks in the new store I guess.

EDIT: so you could get your money back and still keep the game, it's possible.

Not sure if they accidentally marked it free on the store, but the official PS Blog has Alien Breed w/ free Vita download for $7.99 for Plus users. $9.99 for normal users.

something to watch out for.

I read about people calling and getting a "may" get a refund though. That's ridiculous. Seems simple enough. Check the time frame that the games were being downloaded at precisely the time when the glitch occured and give PSN credit to refund us all back so Sony doesn't have to pay out of pocket.

well given that there are millions of people on the psn store each day there must have been at least a number of people who just download alien breed without being subbed to psn+ today during the mistake period who just wanted to buy it at the standard price so they'll need to check the data and see exactly who clicked it who had psn + very odd that you didn't get any confirmation tho, I normally get confirmation on payment even on free stuff from there, just to let you know that you are getting it for free.

You got your email in tho and it's an issue which has effected others I'm sure Sony sort out any odd PR in the next 8 days hehe :) nothin gonna mess up their big announcement. GL getting your refund mate.
