Well Mario Kart Wii has sold 34M+ and has sold more than any other non bundled game in history. Mario Kart DS has sold 22M+ and is the 3rd best selling game on DS only behind Nintendogs and New Super Mario Bros. Mario Kart 7 has sold 7M+ and is on track to become the top selling game on 3DS. If that isn't enough, it also seems that Mario Kart U is the most hyped game for Wii U. So has Mario Kart already become bigger than Zelda, Pokemon or even Mario itself? I think so.

The Wii Series is, I think, the best selling Nintendo series of last gen... I think.
