They're a bridge between High School and University I guess. A level results will usually determine what courses you can take at Uni.

i'm srry you have to watch that. it's so upsetting.
@ kowenicki some people are just to smart for college. i get that all the time but, i have to say you didn't need it. that personal opinion.
Graduated college with a degree that I have yet to use with ~18k in federal student loan debt. I view my BS degree as a bullshit degree.
Currently finishing my M.S. degree (Analytical Biochemistry). I'm trying to figure out what to do with my life after that. Since I hate being where I am, I'm currently looking at Ph.D. programs abroad.
I'm currently in 9th Grade. Some of my classes are AP, some are Honors, and some are basic. That means that I have (or are taking) a College education in History and Human Geography. I have a 10th-11th grade education in English/Literature. And I have a 9th grade education in Biology/Algebra. (I should be in Honors Algebra and Honors Biology but my Middle school screwed everything up for me (in 8th grade) and put me into Basic Biology and Advanced Algebra, which I already learned in 7th grade.)

So for instance to would probably need 4 A levels at grade A or A* to get into medical school. |
Oh we don't have them here. So why did you ditch uni? You started your own business?

University Physics. Seriously regret taking it at the best university in the country. Do not take a STEM degree unless you actually enjoy solving problems that are harder than what you feel capable of doing. If I could choose again it would be at a less formal, private-school dominated, complacent university.

Really? Ouch. I thought they only asked for 3 A levels.
