I find this Wii U mystery GPU speculation to be great fun. I'm a PC gamer (2GB 7870 HD, 4100FX, 8GB RAM) and I'm gonna be honest. I have no freaking clue about the WiiUs capabilities.This will sound super cliche but despite experiencing Crysis 2 (ultra), Witcher 2 (Ultra minus Uber Sampling), Metro 2033 at 1080p etc Monoliths X trailer still looked ridiculously amazing to me. Great rendering tech is nothing without awe inspiring software. I just hope developers will finally increase the scale of games due to consoles having more RAM . All hose shooters I mentioned feel way too cramped and claustrophobic to me.

I do love zelda, i think the series is amazing, mario is great as well, i do hold high praise for those 2 franshises, but out dated tech, motion controls, and no third party support, make it easy for me  not even consider buying the console, unless it's dirt cheap. i'm not really a harcore gamer, and one console is enough for me.

Could you, rather than just say that? I understand people need to come to grips with reality but don't be too eager either, OP raises a question, don't pretend it isn't there either.

it's looking like PS4 from the rumors, i don't like what i hearing from microsoft, mainly kinect focused games and 50% weaker hardware.

yea peope are debating fixed functions, even with that it will get about a 50 gflops more max, there is no magic to make a gpu  gain 50% more power, the real debate that's going on is 160 SP vs 320 SP.
