I don't think I'll get one because...

1.) It sounds like a Wii U clone. Every time Nintendo comes up with a "horrible gimmick" Sony and Microsoft copy it in an instant. This time faster than ever! Its been rumored that the PS4 will have a screen on the controller. Hmm... and don't shout Dreamcast because the controller does nothing that the Wii U one does.

2.) Even though it probably won't cost that much it'll cost more than the Wii U. If Nintendo had made a console that responds to the Pro Controller primarily then about $180 would be shaved off the Wii U's price. So that's where the Wii U's cost comes in. The PS4 will have similar specs to Wii U but it will have more HDD space. That alone justifies a higher price.

3.) Trust me, when the games come out they won't scratch Nintendo's IPs. Not even a chance. Yes, there will be those who buy CoD and Assassin's Creed(Wonderful Series) but we all know who the most creative game developers are at; Nintendo. The PS4 and Xbox720(Should have been called Infinity instead of Durango imo) will probably show in E3 2013 just to have the show stolen by Nintendo's software. It's happened before. You can't resist Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart, 3D Mario, and many more. I just don't think devs will have anything new to show on the PS4 that can't be done on the PS3. That justifies a new console generation. Being able to do something on a new console that you couldn't do on a past one.

4.) It'll just be a PS3 with minor improvements sounds like. I don't see anyone else not copying off Nintendo's hardware. The Wii U is leaps and bounds over the Wii and it really is a masterful piece of hardware,; loading times and lack of games aside.

RROD was a huge selling point for Mission: Impossible fans.

Sony obviously sells on exclusives and/or free online because they are still selling the most despite being the most expensive.

If your a sony fan and like there first party games,then that should be reason enough.

1.) No, I only heard one rumor of sony doing a screen on the controller and I don't even think it was a credible source.  All the latest rumors put them using a touchpad, like the back of the vita, where the start and home buttons are.  They will not ditch the dualshock more than likely.

2.) No again.  The wii u is pretty much a 360 and ps3, but with more RAM but slower.  And I think the people are saying the CPU is horrible and the GPU is comparable to the xenos in 360, maybe a little faster.  I could have those backwards, IDK.

3.) That's all nintendo will have, software.  Sony and MS will have their new consoles along with new IP's and existings IP's for their new consoles. But, it really just comes down to opinions on who wins E3.

4.) The wii u is a great console, but it's far from a masterpiece.  And since all the rumors of the specs inside the ps4 and nexbox are beginning to be the same with each leak they are more than likely close to what we'll get.  And they seem a lot more powerful than the wii u.  But we won't know till the 20th for sony if they release specs at their playstation meeting.

PS3: Bluray, Cell

PS4: Bluray, 4K, last but not least: Gaikai

Bluray still has not won over dvd so you can't expect them to come with something new.

Why buy the PS4..........Answer = Because PS4!

1. Longer load times. They are still a bit too short to make a cup of tea. With more complex games running of the same speed hdd's I hope that will be remedied.

2. More convoluted user interface. The more time spend navigating unnecessary menus and distractions will save on game costs in the long run.

3. I still want to play the last guardian some day.

The ps4 will have much better hardware then the ps3 .
More meamory better cpu and gpu and better games thats the reason to get ps4
