Um ok.
The reason this has been 100% accurate so far (according to you) is because it's broad and obvious. Going from top to bottom we've got:
2011
"Best Games and Entertainment for Everyone in the family." That's a no brainer. Of course they want to do that.
"High definition games and entertainment platform for all consumers." Again the only thing it's stating is super obvious.
"Enjoy great physical/social games solo or with a friend." So pretty much kinect, dancing mats, wii, move, eye toy, etc.
"Best games for the core and broad. New Hero/exclusive content. Begin our TV story." So Microsoft wants the best games and exclusive content. That's such a shocker. The "Begin our TV story" doesn't even say something. It's completely up to whoever to interpret.
"Deliver great TV experiences. One Unified Service." Alright so Microsoft wants stuff to be tied to live. Who would have thought.
"XBL on Windows Phone. XBL on Windows. XBL on Console." Finally a concrete thing! Nothing is left to interpretation, I like it.
2012
"World Class TV and Web Entertainment on the Xbox 360" This is pretty much saying the 360 has Netflix and YouTube. Could be interpreted in hundreds of ways.
"Next Generation TV/Web on your 360. New Haptic controller." 360 can surf the web and somewhat watch TV. TVii is next gen TV but whatever. Also, what haptic controller?
"Control your TV experiences via Gesture, Voice and Touch." So that's kinect and also a smart device thrown in. Guess it's true but everyone does smartphone control. Not too far out there.
"Broad entertainment portfolio (Linear TV, Apps, Hero Content, Web Content) Two way interactive applications" That's a lot of words to really say nothing. Oh and does any one know what Hero Content is?
"Personalization Services (New Guide, Recommendations, New Live Tiers) Consume one experience at a time." What a load of BS! You think this stuff actually happened?
"Synchronized Web Transmedia Experiences across your TV, Phone and PC." First off, "transmedia" isn't a word. Also this is pretty much gibberish that can be interpreted almost any way. The box for 2011 to the left already accomplishes this with XBOX live.
2013
"Next Generation Entertainment. One Box. Input 1." So this hints at the nextbox and then has some gibberish that needs the rest of the year to explain it.
"The Only box you need for premium living room entertainment" Oh so that's what they're getting at with "One Box." Also this is saying nothing new.
"Natural Input that adapts to you and your world" Is this a marketing document or a 5 year plan? Why not just say what that input is? Oh yeah it's a fake article. Forgot that for a sec.
"Exclusive Next Generation Games and Transmedia Experiences" No shit. Also there's that fake word again.
"Enjoy multiple experiences at a time. Mix and match services based on your needs." So what does this even mean? I can watch Netflix while playing online with GOLD? It also seems to imply that everything won't be hidden behind the GOLD pay wall. Or else within GOLD things will cost extra.
"Synchronized Rich Client experiences across your TV, Phone and PC" So the same as the last year but "Rich Client" replaces "Web", assuming "transmedia" means trans-media of course.
2014
"Interact with the world in a revolutionary way. See for yourself." Again why can't it just tell me what this "revolutionary way" is? Also why would I have to wait till 2014 to see it?
"Breakthrough Heads up and Hands Free Device" Alright I like this. It's concrete and says something. Even if we don't know what the device is, it's not left to interpretation. But then again this does perfectly describe Kinect...
"Seamless integration of the digital world with the physical world" This is under "sensors" so it's talking about AR I guess. Woah, fancy.
"Contextual applications and experiences for your life." I don't really understand. So on my birthday I get to play a blow out the candles app? Someone please help me make sense of it.
"Real time information on people, places and objects." I'm not sure how Live is supposed to evolve into Google but ok.
"Largest and most immersive screen, in the living room and on the go." So now in order to buy a nextbox I need to buy a 100 inch tv with it? Or am I supposed to be using VR type glasses that will cost a small fortune? This is crazy talk. (illumiroom doesn't work for "on the go.")
2015
"Latest and greatest XBOX experiences. Instantly on any screen." The first sentence is again, no shit. The second pretty much means content streaming. Cool.
"Enjoy premium experiences on existing or inexpensive hardware." This is either saying the nextbox will still be around in 2015 or that content will be streamed.
"Enhance your experiences with innovative local sensors" Wow I can't wait! Maybe Microsoft hasn't figured out what those sensors will be yet and that's why it's so vague and obvious.
"Access to the latest and greatest experiences without upgrading hardware" I was already told this two blocks above.
"Instant on Experiences Everywhere. Access your entire Entertainment library." The Cloud is sooo 2015 guys.
"Enjoy the Complete Xbox experience. Any Time, Any Where, Any Screen." Streaming really needed to be explained once more.
So there you have it! The road map picture is either made by a Microsoft employee daydreaming in the marketing department or it's fake. Also Jay did you fully read it? No, it's not 100% accurate so far. Now I'm tempted to look into this more and see if Fortaleza itself is fake.
EDIT: I found in the full leaked document a fair amount of explanations for what I mentioned above. However I also found more things that didn't happen. Last I checked the XBOX 361 didn't come out in 2012.
