that's a good point, the skylander franchise probably dies if the wiiU doesn't succeed. i don't imagine a ps4/xbox8 port would have half as much success as what was seen on wii.

I don´t know about the launch period,but if I´m not mistaken, Kotick had threatened to drop PS3 support if Sony didn´t cut the price of the system.

Wii U has had the better launch by a large margin, but is apparently dropping harder.
