they sure are spending money onthe specs more then anything else, so they can say what ever they want.

But but, MS is the Evilz for doiiing so, suuurely Sony would not do this, I meen they lub their gameerz so much more than their coin riiigt?
As expected.

No huge surprises here. After a certain point you can just ramp up the specs with next to know improvement graphics-wise. So going into the alternate play area sounds like the best thing all-round.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Between the law of diminishing returns and their financial situation, Sony would be mad to make a new console that's as big a leap over the PS3, as it was over the PS2, or the 360 was over the Xbox. A smaller power jump is the smart thing to do.
Improved hardware is the main selling point to me. I don't care about the rest.

lol what? No one is blaming MS for doing it...they are worried about their overall focus. The recent rumors are not doing it any favors either.
OT: Well yeah. Powerful hardware enough to show an actual generational leap + new control input methods + new services and features and most importantly + new games = overall appeal. Basically it won't be a wiiu spec wise (so no worries about third party support etc for the future) nor it will be only about the specs. Sounds good to me
