Can anybody confirm if this Rayman has online coop? I heard it has but I wasn't sure. That was the only reason I didn't get Rayman Origins day one. If it has then I don't mind dropping 60 on it day 1 since I can play with my friend.

Why they don't release it on the WiiU when there's no games releasing is mind boggling.

They really could have the benefit of an exclusivity in a lesser console(sales releated) just like Tales of Symphonia, de Blob or Epic Mickey did compared to their sequels

yeah I mean it sold more on PS3 than it did on any other platform.  Heck even Vita got a decent amount of units sold considering its install base (.29m not counting digital).  360 even sold more than Wii did and there should be no platforming fans left on 360.

They need the money... so they delayed the game? That doesn't make sense. If they need the money so much, they'd release it immediately, use the profits from this version to fund the porting costs and new content development costs, and then do a re-release in November for all three platforms, giving it a second wind on the Wii U and leveraging the fact that most PS3/360 owners aren't going to be upgrading in the first couple of months, and those interested in Rayman Legends would probably not be the first to upgrade.

I blame Ubisoft's management for being rather dimwitted. Not only would they have gotten lauded for having one of the first great games on the Wii U (other great games are going to come by September, at least), but they would then get added perks from the re-release. There's simply nothing sensible about Ubisoft's announcement, and I'm betting that Ubisoft Montpellier's employees are raging at the sabotage of their game.

Rayman Origins was crushed beneath the tank treads of 2011's heavy hitters, the same will happen to Legends. Do they really think PS3/360 gamers are going to buy this kind of game over GTAV? (Although I have no doubt it will be a much better game than GTAV)
