Casltvania: LOS was so underrated is was damn near heartbraking

Just wanted to let you know that you have Castlevania is spelled wrong in the op. The last Castlevania game I played was Castlevania: Circle of the Moon which I could never beat that bitch boss (she is a super big bitch and does gamma rays across half the screen).

And they'll be pretty good at looking surprised and dissapointed by the low sales of the game on 3DS (no more games on Nintendo platforms).

I've always wanted to play Castlevania Lords of Shadow but I never got around to buying it. It's pretty cheap now. I would pick it up.....except for the fact that I watched the Gabriel video and the guy said "This is Gabriel, obviously before his transformation....."

Pretty much ruined it for me. I'll still buy the 3DS title but, damn. One hell of a spoiler in that vid.

Simon footage looks AWESOME. I am a huge Castlevania fan, and although I liked Lords of Shadow it didn't feel all that much like a Castlevania game. The Simon section fixes that, with the easy to kill fodder enemies, the throwing axe, and even the feel of the platforming. Not too mention the return of hearts! I'm also a huge fan of the actual character design for Simon, it combines the newer pretty boy Simon, knight Simon, and barbarian Simon in a way that I really enjoy.

Day one for me. Has it actually been confirmed fro HD release by the way? I'm buying the 3DS version anyway, since I love me some Castlevania on the go.

The journey to the transformation is still fun, and it's really long and meaty for a hack n' slash.  I'ld get it on the cheap if you can.

nah dude, you owe it to yourself to play this game, which is very very underrated as someone above said. His transfermation is one thing, but the game and story, IMHO, was done so well that Gabriel has become one of my favourite videogame charaters of all time. You also need to play the DLC especially the last one so you can know where his power for that Transfermation came from. Do it I say!

People were unfairly comparing it to GoW.  It's an action game where the main character has a chain weapon, so of course it's going to look the same, but it was a very different game.
