They only expect PSV to sell 10 Million by March 2014? It has already sold 4 Million so only 6 Million within the next year?

I guess no Price Cut this year? At the same time that is on average 100K+ a week. I don't see that happening unless it has a Price Cut...who knows.

Wats going on in the industry!

It is things like this that make me think PS4 will be around 500 USD and not 400.

It's big, hot, slow, expensive, poor battery life, you get less than half the storage space and honestly doesn't compete that well with Win8 laptops that do all of the same.

The RT is a much better product.

Hope isn't lost for Vita yet. It can do it!

Honestly, it's a question of if they CAN lower the price or if they feel it necessary...

The whole schtick about Sony not making any money or losing money per Vita sold was put to rest a while ago, but I don't think Sony can really afford that sort of a hit into their bottom line. The article says that Sony is just going to throw more software at it. That's fine and good, but they seem like they're in a bit of a bad position, because even if they DO lower the price, that makes it so each Vita gives them less money (especially in bundles, because the company who has a game in the bundle needs to be compensated). Reduction of memory card kind of does something similar, because I imagine they make a lot off each card.

This is probably why they're trying to just throw even more software at it right now. They're hoping that something will go nuts and really start making the Vitas fly off the shelves without cutting into their profit margin per unit.
